In a concurrent thread, 'Octane Blend Charts,' opinion (backed by Owners' Manual) is that 93 octane is optimum for Cayman S. Of course, for racing, maybe you'll want/need something higher.
I travel from Timonium,MD to Solomons Island,MD on a bi-weekly basis and I have yet to locate a gas station that carries anything higher than 93 octane. Now, when I travel to Ohio/Indiana, I see plenty of 94,95,100 octane pumps.... I wonder why?
