To all of you in Zone 2, have you found a good place to keep your Smart Tag/ EZ Pass other then the windshield or without having to dig it out and hold it up while trying to go through the toll booths? I tried to put it in the front DVD/CD changer compartment but it didnt work. Perhaps someone else have found a place with better success.

I keep mine in the door pocket and hold it up when I need too..BUT if you mounted it in the front grill or inside the bumper cover it would probably work through the plastic vs through the metal of the boot,

I used a permanent magic marker to 'blacken' the window side of the EZ-Pass transponder and placed it on passenger's side of the rear view mirrow. This, after I went through a toll gate with the transponder in the glove box (it doesn't work while in the glove box). Instead of a white box that looks out of place stuck on theCayman's windshield I have a black box that, while still visible, is unobtrusive and performs well.
