Wondering if anyone went to the open house at Hennessey Porsche in north Atlanta weekend. Some friends and I rode up to look around. They had a catered lunch and a lot of cars. Got to look at the RS60 Spyder Boxster and the Design Edition Porsche. Also many nice Carreras. The RS60 was very nice but very expensive. I really liked the front on it. Anyway it was a nice day and a relaxing way to look at the cars.

I wish someone would convince them to become a sponsor especially since Croctoberfest is in their backyard this year. Anyone have a good contact there like the GM or something?

Croctoberfest is the annual gathering of Cayman owners and enthusiasts to partake in several fun events over the course of a few days. Croctoberfest 2006 was held in Kansas City, Croctoberfest 2007 was held in Las Vegas, and Croctoberfest 2008 will be held in Atlanta, GA on October 2nd - 5th.

I got an invite to come test drive the new Cayenne GTS, but I try to boycott Hennessey. I went there about 4 times when I was looking for a Croc and not a soul came out to talk to me.
I guess your not a potential buyer when in t-shirt and bluejeans.

I looked at Hennessey but they had a limited number of cars when I was ready to buy. I bought from Jim Ellis and was happy with the process.

I dealt with John Dissen at Hennessey and he was great. He's kept in touch with email re: upcoming events and still comes outside if he sees me pull up into the lot. I've been very pleased with the sales side of the house. The service manager has always been helpful with information. I would say overall that I am pleased with their service and attention.

Ken, I stopped by Hennessy today and spoke with John Dissen who said that he would be willing to speak to the GM about the sponsorship but needed to know what the particulars were about sponsorship. Can you fill me in or give John a call directly.
