Sounds like you need to start a new site called www.brcs.org
As more people get their cars we need to have some sort of formal get together, I have sponsors and PCA resources standing by to support such a venture. If anyone is interested in helping organize, please let me know.
Also a quick plug for the Ozark Weekend event coming up in a few weeks, check the calendar or forum for more information!

CaymanClub.Net members who are also PCA members should request access to the PCA Member only forum by filling in their PCA Member ID# into their profile and then requesting a group membership addition, both of which can be done in the User Control Panel (User CP)

I checked with some of the good members at Porsche Pete's Boxster Board (www.ppbb.com) and they said bringing a Cayman (or Carrera, Ferrari, Lotus, Miata, etc) was acceptable.
This will be the eighth iteration. They have some folks coming from CA, MI and FL, but the majority are naturally from the Mid Atlantic and SouthEast states.
There are 'good' people at PPBB?
I was just saying that at some point we need to start thinking about some Cayman-centric activities, meetings, etc. Any interesting in helping to organize Cayman events? I need to put out a call in the next newsletter.

jbarrow,I recently gave up my post on the BRBSPlanning Committee after seven years, but I still feel qualified toassure that you will be welcomed with open arms atBRBS. FWIW, last year, we carefullythought about rebranding the event ABCs (Appalacian Boxster and Cayman Summit), given that both cars share the internal designation of '987'. Trust me when I tell you that you will have a great time in Blowing Rock in June, even if you can't put the top down.

My wife and I are really looking forward to it. I had heard you were not able to make it this year. Maybe next year? I am glad that motorsports photography is keeping you busy and I really enjoy your work in Excellence.

I'll be at Watkins Glen for the 6 Hours during BRBS weekend this year. But, the funny part of the story is that my son, my wife and I will be in Blowing Rock on Monday, after the conclusion of BRBS VIII. We're taking him on the Tweetsie Railroad (Thomas the Train 'tour'). :-)
I'll be at BRBS every year I don't have a conflicting race weekend. Hopefully, 2007 will be my first in attendance as a 'regular' participant, and not as a totally stressed out planner. ;-)

Welcome to the Cayman Club!
Thanks! My keeninterest in the Cayman has led me to lurk here as time permits. FWIW, look for my coverage of the Farnbacher Loles Cayman GTR in an upcoming Excellence.

James and Jolyn, I hope you enjoyed brbs this year as the only one of them I certanily enjoyed meeting you, as well as driving with you Friday... the permanent top-up option was the way to go that day! Remember that stop on the Parkway when all you had to do was raise your windows? Behind you, and wet Hope to see you next year too, enjoy,
