We had a great gathering today at Neil's shop. In total, we had 7 Caymans turn out and 12 or so people. Afterward, we enjoyed lunch at Han's restaurant in Helen. We had three Caymans (and Paul's BMW) that turned out at the restaurant for the mountain driving. Here are some of the pictures. The link to the full gallery is at the bottom. I'd like to thank Neil for hosting us and Paul for the drive. Man was that fun!
Kaiser,
I must agree, what a great time and a great group of people!
We'll really have to do this again!
Sorry I missed the twisties-it's hard to soar with the eagles when you've been out all night with the turkeys! :-)
You're right. Everyone has EXCELLENT taste in their choice of cars!
Thanks again to Neil. (Hmmm-seems I missed my turn to test drive the Noble!)
By the way, isn't driving a G 35 to a Cayman gathering similar to bringing a knife to a gunfight? :-)

Sounds like a good time and as an FYI you guys can set up your own photo gallery here and upload photos to the site as opposed to hosting off-site if you want to. Also I take it no one gave Neil a cell phone cause I didn't get a call.
Had a great time and it was nice meeting all of you!
Sorry we didn't make it with the first group that headed out. The guy that owned the Noble came and picked it up, and of course we had to watch him load it on the trailer.
We talked to Neil for about an hour in the parking lot before leaving.
Thanks Neil for hosting and letting us tour your shop.
We met another great guy on the mountain run (yellow car-see pic). He even had lunch with us.
Well I got a few more chips in the bumper and hood, but I would do it again tomorrow.
A great day!!!!!!!!!!! Wonderful people, great cars, and outstanding roads!
Let's hit that 3 lane on 129 again (and again, and again ). Thanks to Neil for hosting the morning get together, and Paul and Ginny for leading the way.
Regards!
David

It was nice to see so many Caymans at the meet, since you hardly see any on the street (which is a good thing). I was one of the friends who tagged along with Chops, since I may be considering a Cayman S in the near future. It was good to meet some of you guys and talk to Neal about the performance upgrades he provides for the car, impressive!
Jim...Great to meet you too, it was fun talking Music & Cars. I'll call you when the studio is up and running again.
Thanks for your Warm Enlgish Hospitality Neal, and hopefully I'll be talking to you more about the 3.8 conversion...
Jolyn and I had a great time. Thanks to Neil for hosting us and thanks to Paul and Ginny for leading the way. What a thrill it was to chase after a 3.0 CS all afternoon long. Sonny, your pictures are great! And Paul, if you want large copies of the two nice ones I got of your Coupe, send me an email.
You must have just missed us. They had either that yellow vette or another one that looks just like there before we left.
You aren't kidding about the chips in the hood, or doing it again. I'll think of them as experience scars
