Unhappy is it still cold in march?

hello zone 4. i must admit that i am a little anxious knowing that i am booking a trip to michigan for the month of march. i need a little help, advice, and any input anyone can give me. i will be staying all over michigan from auburn hills to st. joe and all the cities in between. can someone help? where to stay and what to avoid? any good eats and anything that i shouldn't miss?

your help is much appreciated.

I really wouldnt do it. Mine has been in storage since Nov. I am not planning on taking it out until at least April. We always get weird weather in March so I play it safe.

That's above the arctic circle so bring some chains. As Chalk said, weather that time of year is unpredictable, might be 70 might be 20. One of our worst ice storms ever was late March and we are quite a bit further south.

The average high/low temps for March are 45/26. We have had significant snowfalls in March. There are plenty of good hotels/restaurants in the Auburn Hills area. You won't want to miss the Henry Ford Museum, there is a lot of great automotive history to be seen there.

You should be able to find everything you need on the internet but feel free to PM me if you need more info.

Been to the museum and I must say, its unreal. I was so tired from walking through it. I did not realize it was that large. Lots of good information and historical pieces on autos. A stop there is a must.
