Where do you track?

Hello, I'm a new member living in Houston. Black 07 CS.

I was wondering to what track Houstonians go to kill the stress and go beyond 100 mph?

TWS (Texas World Speedway) in College Station is where all of PCA's AX and DE's are held. That is the closest that I know of. If you're thinking of tracking your car I would definitely think of joining PCA if you haven't all ready since you get dicsounts on track fees.

Congrats on the new CS and be sure to take pictures and add your baby to the registry.

We (Zone 5ers) are in the process of putting together a meet for the day, sometime in mid-late June. You should come out. There are a lot of Black CS in the Houston Group.

Yeah, I saw the photos from the last meeting. All black C and one blue F..funny. Count me in.

I'm also kind of scare right now about the color...seems delicate from what I've read from some posts.

The local chapter of PCA is Lone Star Region (www.lsrpca.com). The 2 most used tracks are MSR in Cresson and TWS in College Station. LSR used to go to MSR south of Houston but no longer. The MSR tracks are more of a speed track than a twisty curvy track, so the high powered cars do better. TWS is set up more for handling and the Caymans rule in the handling department. And it is a lot of fun leaving turbos in the corners.

LSR PCA uses www.clubregistration.net to sign up for events. The next one is in June and registration opened today. If you have never done any DEs you will be in the Green run group. Do NOT wait too long prior to registering as this group and the Blue group fill up real fast. You will get a $50 break for the weekend if you are a PCA member.

If you make it look me up.
