Dinner and soft drinks will be provided. Playing in the background during dinner will be a 40 minute movie, Made by Hand, an original documentary from 1962 on building the Porsche 356b.Topics will include: Tire Basics and Adjusting Tires for track events.\
To sweeten the pot, Yokohama has offered the following giveaways: 1 set of Yokohama tires, T shirts, hats, and more.

I changed the date in the title of the thread per Tiptoe's request. It was a little misleading, made it look like they were back to back instead of one month apart.
I would like to meet other site members, so please look me up when you get there.
I do have an ulterior motive. I just had the lifters replaced on the driver's side and there is still a clattery sound coming from there. I would like to hear a Boxter/Cayman to see if yours are the same. Or even the other side of a 911.
The tech told me it could be the vacuum pump -- that they do make a little noise.
Anyway, I would like to see if yours sound like mine.
So thanks a bunch and hope to see you there...

What!?!?! No reports or photos from this event last night? Seems atypical of the LSR group.
So for those of you that went, how was it? I take it no CC'ers won the tires, otherwise I'd think you would be on th boards immediately letting us know about it.
I had an unplanned/unexpected meeting that ran until 1800, and I couldnt summon the courage to drive in rush hour traffic out to 249 and 1960, so I had a margarita here in downtown and then drove home....sorry, I didnt attend.
