Good Weekend Drives
Hey all,
Got 240 miles on the clock so far. Desperate to get at least 1k, which is not easy given that my morning commute is only about a mile. Anybody got any ideas on good drives my wife and I could take to just get out of Dallas and enjoy? Been down to Glen Rose once or twice, but since I just bought the car Rough Creek Lodge isn't in the cards for a while...

Not sure how far from Dallas you want to travel but I think this would be an excellent drive, not sure why Boxstoberfest is not scheduled around this time of year.

Look at the following two links. The first is mainly about a State Natural Area but has some good info about what you will see. The second link provides a route.
