Sounds interesting.

Is it 34 per person or per car?

Am I missing something, but where do the "cruises" start?

Ole Joe

Take care, Papa

34 per person (you leave your car in the parking lot ), but it's sooo worth it!

I've tentatively marked my calendar, depending on start time and how much energy I have. I run Sat. mornings w/ Austin Fit, and am usually pretty exhausted afterwards, but will do my best to make it.

Ole Joe,
Last year we brought our own "picnic lunch" so the price was less if you opted for the "bring your own lunch." More details to follow.

Chris, I'm running Disney Marathon 2 weeks prior. Can't make Saturday morning runs cause I'm usually at work.

We can check out joshb1's new ice cream shop on the way home!

Update:
We can book a PM cruise, leaves at 1:30 pm with minimum of 20 people, bring your own lunch (or buy one from the tour operator if you like), discounted rate of $15.06 per person. Cruise is 2 hours, basically go up the river (lake), see the eagles, turn around and come back. We could rendezvous at josh's place and caravan there together or just show up at the appointed time.

Any takers? mighty quiet out there. Last year we had a great time with several folks from Maverick Region joining us.

So, I'm making a reservation for Jan 26th cruise at 1:30pm. Adults $15.06 if we get 20 people. Kids and seniors (over 60) get further discount. You buy a box lunch on board the boat or bring your own lunch if you want. Sent an email to CC members that I have email address for. We will tentatively meet in Marble Falls (several Longhorn members are driving up) and take a short drive together to the boat. Or you can make up your "hill country drive" and meet us at the boat dock. 3 weeks away, any takers?

I'd love to go if it were only on another weekend, but I'll be driving across the Hill Country in the Raging Bull Texas Stampede

This looks like a great time, nice find Papa. I am putting a call into my mother-in-law to see if she will watch my boys that day so the wife and I can come out. I showed this to my wife and she is very excited.

This is a great opportunity for Zone 5ers to get together not to mention the hill country roads offer a thrill to drive on. I highly recommend everyone from Austin, Dallas, San Antonio and Houston to make the drive for this. We will be there if I can get a baby sitter.

Criminy. This mentions the track I had heard only rumors of before: Harris Hill Road It's in San Marcos, to be opened soon, it looks like.

Thanks!

Yes, I believe it's almost ready to open if not yet...they've already had members running there.

The Vanishing River Cruise is a LOT of fun, I highly recommend it. It's killing me that I can't join y'all!

OK, I signed up for the cruise on Jan 26th at 1:30pm, put the down payment on my credit card. Have 12 people signed up, need 8 more (minimum, can add more beyond the 20 we're contracted for) to get the very low price of $15.06 You can pay me with check or cash at the boat. Thus far, CC members include Texas Red and wife, skup, TX-KmanS and wife (unless they move to Boulder), and me and the wife. Any more takers?
