Question Nice driving route in DFW area?

OKay...I'm a little tired of driving around the North Dallas highway systems (190, 75, North Dallas Tollway, etc). Plus, I pay too much tolls just for driving around. Can someone recommend a nice driving route in the DFW area? Thanks!!!

Decent roads are west of i-35 past the Texas Motor Speedway. You can then work your way North. I used to take my Z3 Coupe and Honda 1100xx out along those roads. North of Denton on the rural roads is ok to up to Oklahoma. 635 to 121 to 114 will get you in the neighborhood out past Grapevine and Roanoke.

Can't remember any better than that since I relocated to SoCal about two years ago.

Radar detectors and laser jammers REQUIRED when cruising through those roads due to small town revenuers/police.

A drive I used to do as well is up to Beavers Bend State Park in OK. 259 is a good highway. Any "real" driving, will have to be done in Arkansas with the hills/mountains there.

ps. i resisted the urge to make a joke about arkansas. not ez.
