This last weekend was DTP (Driven to Perform) which is the yearly import and modified car show here in Calgary. I used to be heavilly involved in this scene, the Cayman isn't highly modified but a few exotics and sports cars always show up every year so I made an appearance and had a great time.

I had TONS of love for the car and a lot of people told me it was their favorite car at the show or asked me if it cost more than cars like 997C4S, R8, and Aston Martin Vantage which were also at the show - and they were surprised to hear me say no I think up here there is still very little awareness of where a Cayman fits in to the Porsche line up and lets face it, the car looked hot.

These were mostly taken on my cell phone camera I forgot my real camera at home. Some were taken by a friend.

Sometimes I wish I didn't let my spouse talk me out of a white CS. The Cobalt Blue she talked me into is great too, but I still think white is the best Cayman color.

Are Those Boxster Style side Vents? Looks pretty Cool Also I got a chewing out from my local porsche dealer when I Inquired about Silver Hood Crests .Apparently Porsche is very steamed about people messing with the Patent gold crest,Insulting their trademark I was told .Needless to say I plan on getting Yelow Porsche Caps on my wheels and Silver Crest on my hood.. LOVE your Car and the Pics came out pretty good for a Cell phone..

Nice pics! How come I didn't know about this show? Woulda been nice if the Porsche dealership would have mentioned it in their newsletter they sent me with such pertinent information as "being sure I add avocado to my diet" of all things!

Haha, as I mentioned it was an import and modified car show, mostly cars like Civics and S2000's with body kits and turbos, I think the Calgary dealership really would like to stay divorced from them, not exactly the right image for Porsche in their minds maybe?
