Reviving an old thread here but did anyone do this with a CDR-24 Bose system? I was looking at replacing the headunit but keeping everything else in place. I have read people have done it but I wonder what it costs and if anyone in the bay area has experience.

I still haven't installed the Dension I purchased late last year in my CS (I have the Bose system). Partly because I haven't been able to find (via Internet) any experiences that anyone has had with any shops in the greater Bay Area...

As a workaround, I burned my 'five star' playlist on iTunes and now have 42 cd's to lug in and and out to the car. To add injury to insult, the changer jammed last week, so I have to take it in to Carlsen to have them unjam the cartridge... I am now more motivated to get the stupid thing installed, but still I can't find any examples of installs... Weird.
