My wife and I will be out in SFO (without my Cayman) between November 10-18 for Oracle OpenWorld. I'd like to meet up with a few of ya'll maybe on the 11th or the 17th. I'll be staying at the Mark Hopkins, but anywhere downtown would be good. If that doesn't work, we could do dinner/drinks on the 16th or 17th. Let me know if there is any interest.

Oracle convention is downtown in SOMA near the Metreon? fun area and right by where i work. on the 17th we'll be out of town, but the 11th is open. shame it is not a Saturday or we could have folks meet up at Santana Row (Exotics on display) -

The conference is at the Moscone center right next to the Metreon. The 11th will work for me, but I might wander over to Santana Row to see the exotics. on the 17th. Thanks for the heads up.

So who is up for Santana Row on Nov 17th? So happy to live in a place where we do not have to garage our darlings for the winter. There is some great Indian food nearby in Palo Alto...
Also - drinks after conference activities during the week? Date/Details? Both my husband and I work in SOMA and will be around any day but Tuesday.

Santana Row on the 17th is certainly doable. I'll need to rent a car, but that shouldn't be a problem for the day. I can meet almost any day except Wednesday. The Indian restaurant on the 17th works for me as well.
On a similar topic, are there any Thai/Indian restaurants that ya'll recommend in the downtown area? The spicier the better.
