What a great time... got to meet (and greet) a lot of new, fellow Cayman-ers??... A fun drive from Los Gatos up Hwy 9 to Skyline, down "84" to the coast and up to Half Moon Bay -- all with chamber of commerce weather !!
The drive back was less crowded... and enjoyed Hwy 84 without traffic !
But before we left for the rally... the group photo op !
I've sent 15 photos to grrlsix and she'll combine with hers and post the bets ones....Thanks everyone for coming... I was great to meet al of you.

It was a great meet-n-greet! I wish we could have stayed a bit longer and chatted with everybody but I we were up since 5 am. Thanks again to all the organizers!
Here's some more pix .... tried to catch everyone right before they were leaving the parking lot...
I know a couple of you guys were interested in doing a track event.
I'm going to Thunderhill on the 19, with UnlimitedLaps. I think the novice and intermediate are now full, but next time we should do one of these.
A great time was had by all! Thanks to the organizers and those who spent their time driving the route and coming up with those questions. Where the heck was the "Fremont" sign on Skyline? Never saw THAT one go flying by!
Yep. It was GREAT. Only really cool people own Caymans; that's cool.
And the food/setting/service at Sam's Chowder House in Half Moon Bay is outstanding. I'll be going there again - my GF said so!!
Thanks to all that organized the event. A fantastic job!!

I would like to 2nd, 3rd and 4th the sentiment regarding what a great outing we had on our Sunday drive and get together. My wife and I were also very impressed with the food and the view at Sam's Chowder House. We'll certainly be visiting them again in the near future.
Thanks to all who contributed to the planning of this event. It was great to meet fellow Cayman'ers and we enjoyed the camaraderie of sharing the love for the drive!!

At lunch, we (at table 3) were having a discussion about heel-and-toe shifting and awkwardness. And I mentioned a post that described the brake pedal adjustment. It is a little more effort than I remembered. Here it is:
