I live in Willow Glen which is in the San Jose area and the earthquake was quite strong. My wife and I were having dinner when it struck and I literally could see my whole house swaying during the earthquake and there was one rather strong jolt followed by continual movement for approximately 15 seconds.
Just a quick reminder of the volatility our geography possesses!!

Definitely felt it in Cupertino. I gathered my wife and kids under a door frame for about a minute. All the chandeliers swayed a good 12 inches or so, but nothing fell, cracked or broke.
Hope everyone else is okay.

Here in Mountain View I lost about an inch of water in the pool from the sloshing... it was a fun one.... gently swaying back an forth...gradual increasing in intensity the gently returning to normal... I don't like the ones where everything shifts a foot or so in a sudden jolt ...
