I walked over to the car show yesterday during lunch, to try out the camera in my new Nokia E61i phone. (Yeah, that's a good excuse!)

Anyway, Porsche has the prime spot in the convention center; it takes up the entire entrance after you get off the escalator! And the Speed Yellow Cayman is nicely displayed.

Random observations:

1. The exotics were darn hard to find! Granted their display areas are small in comparison to say, GM, but difficult to find nonetheless.

2. The BMW 1 Series car looks interesting. No actually it looks boring. "Interesting" is too non-committal.

3. Penske did not display the For Two. Come on, already.

4. The Audi S5 is huge! But pretty.

5. Ferrari displays only two cars and neither in red or yellow. That's a crime.

oooh - thank you for posting the pictures! they bring back such memories... ah, what is this, a tear in my eye?

Car Shows are such odd experiences.

I have to check this out- I've never been. Nice pics! I saw a R8 on 280 (South) a few weeks ago... pretty slick looking car.

their is an R8 Highway patrol car when you enter, down the escalator and turn right. The white targa with terracota was definitely the best looking car in my opinion. It seemed like having the Gt3 placed on the podium wasnt as attractive for some because I would never see more than 2 people looking at it.
