For those in Z7 interested, Sierra Nevada Region is sponsoring a combo event in Gardnerville (about 20 minutes East of South Lake Tahoe). This is on Saturday, June 28. There will be a Show N Shine, Lunch, Porsche Mountain Drive (probably to include a loop through South Lake, Hope Valley, Markleville, Monitor Pass, etc. returning to Gardnerville for a Basque Dinner. Rooms at the Carson Valley Inn are available at a discount (mention Porsche Club) for Friday and /or Saturday night. THis is part of the Majiko Festival with losts of other stuff to do on the weekend.
Obviously this isn't a Cayman only event but there should be a several Caymans there and the SNR members are really friendly. I for one would love to see a few out of area members join us in the Sierra. We could set up a Cayman only Friday afternoon or Sunday morning meet at South Lake, North Lake or in the Reno area. If any one is or will be in the Tahoe/No Nevada area or just interested in coming, PM me or get details at the SNR website for info: Sierra Nevada Region - Porsche Club of America | It's not just about the cars, it's about the people!. Forms should be uploaded this weekend.
Forms are now uploaded for the the SNR Porsches in the Park Event. THe link is: Sierra Nevada Region - Porsche Club of America | It's not just about the cars, it's about the people!. Look under the Porsches in the Park Event for info on the activities and registration form. I had a chance to drive the route today with Curtis Fong (event chair) and all I can say is it is a breathtaking, Porsche Mountain drive. Already have two Bay Area Boxsters coming (babblers.com members). Hope to see someCC members. PM me with questions.
thanks for posting info about this! tt and i will not be there this time, but are keeping our ears perked for more events! hope you get to meet more of us!

I'll keep you updated. We also have a Zone Concours weekend coming up in early September also in Gardnerville. Should be fun even for the non-car cleaning set. Great time of the year for a mountain drive and the Lake is still beautiful.
I'm hoping to get down for the Marina AX in early August -Also looking at Laguna Seca for the ALMS finals in October. Maybe we can meet up at one of these events.
awesome, at least a few of us will be at the Marina AX - ! is that a Cayman Coup coming on? i have been seeing more and more Cayman at AX, fun!
