Hey busman - How are you? I still haven't decided if I'm going to run the AX - if I do, I'll have track tires on the car since I'm running at Laguna Seca with the Coastal Driving School folks the following Wed., the 19th, and the classing site put me in AX 10 with the track tires on the car. If I come up and run on street tires, I'll run in SS06, just like at Parade. I'm really glad they added the SS classes.

Fort - You'll have a great time if you go... there should be instructors there help you find your way through the first time...to find out your AX class, go back to the "classing" site and take a look at your entry... there should also be a notation as to your AX class, which will be different from the Time Trial (TT) class... If you haven't "classed" your car on the Web since the addition of the Quaife, you should do so again - it will change your class, and any modification to the car that might change it's performance from what was driven off the showroom floor will DQ you from running showroom stock...

so far from shores i'd left behind, still far from shores i've yet to reach... *

Yep - I have the Quaife in there. I'm AX10 and TT10. Also, I need an instructor, and pay with beer. Any volunteers? Brad?

Technically, that is true, if it's not OEM, it's not showroom stock... even aftermarket pedals knock you out of the class, if you're playing by the rules 100%

I'm used to the full open face. Any problems getting another one? Eventually I'm going to want to do some track days too. Will having an open face be okay for that too?
