Croc. Fest in Califonia????

Is there a way we could have a Croc. fest in Ca.? Maybe in Monterey. Laguna Seca would be a great place. We could do it during ALMS or get the track for ourselves. Monterey is a middle point for So. Cal. and Nor. Cal. Not to mention a great place for food ,weather, and relaxing.

I do not want to step on any toes. (K-MAN) If Croc. fest is only a mid west or KC deal we could rename it. I do not want to upset anybody. I really do think a lot of people including my self would love to go to the main Croc. fest but could not make the long trip.

I see the support and interaction on this site of all the Cayman owners here in Ca. and I think it would make for a great event. Sponsors, track time, food, and the ability to put a face to car from people we have chatted with here on this forum.

I really hope there is a interest in this. I would be happy to take point on this, to get the track and help get everyone together.

Zone 7 and So. Cal. lets hear from you does this sound good?

I think you might want to review the history of Croctoberfest.

Croctoberfest 2006 - Kansas City - Centrally located
Croctoberfes 2007 - Las Vegas - Western location
Croctoberfest 2008 - Atlanta - Eastern location

As you can see we rotate it around the country, much like Porsche Parade.

BTW Nothing precludes people from getting together in California or elsewhere as long as you don't call it Croctoberfest and as long as it doesn't compete with Croctoberfest for attendance I'm fine with folks getting together and having fun, that's what it is about. I PM'd the OP.

There is a 356 meet last weekend of April in San Luis Obispo. I'm meeting my sis/bro-in-law there to mingle. Old and new. Should be cool to see them side by side.

Call it the Cayman Club CAymanfest?

Monterey is far away from everywhere in California...so it is perfect.
