I live in Daly City and Drive to Redwood City to visit my Mom and to Los Gatos to visit my sister so if you see a guards red Cayman S on 280 it could be me. I have only seen about 3 Caymans on the road since they have been out. I was at my sisters yesterday and had the car parked in front , we were inside and the windows were open, and a car or truck drives by wtih what sounded like teenage boys in it as one says ' what a car'. Its nice to have a car that will turn heads.

Took delivery of said BlueBlast August 25. Live over in Walnut Creek, by Northgate. There's mine and another Lapis around the Northgate area as well, and I think an Artic round the corner from me.

My license plate will be BLUBLST so that'll be me.

We should organize a local weekend drive....

My Basalt Black Cayman S can be typically be seen in the north bay. During the week, my daily commute takes me from Sonoma to Novato, right past Sears Point. Occaisionally, I encounter a caravan of amazing cars headed to Sears Point for a track day...Lambos, Ferrarris, Exige/Elises, Porsches. On a dreary work morning, itcan certainly spice up the drive!

On the weekend, I'm usually exploring Sonoma and Napa county backroads.

I've had 2 other Cayman S sightingsin Sonoma. An Arctic Silver Cayman S spotted in downtown Sonoma in May. I also ran into a guy from Stasis Engineering (they are based at Sears Point) at Safeway in Sonoma loading groceries into his Black Cayman S back in April.

I also spotted a Speed Yellow Cayman S in downtown Petaluma in July.

I'm joining the Redwood PCA Winery Drive today, so maybe I'll see a few more Caymans in the wild...

cycaza,

your atlas looks awesome with terracota interior. I've got an atlas with black interior and drive up and down 280 on the peninsula frequently...where are you?

saw a Black CS, blacked out windows with a 'Hi Gene' plate on 19th Ave & Noriega (Sunset District SF)......sorry to say, could not see who was driving, too fogged in; but the xenon sure was bright.

I spotted a Seal Gray Cayman S on McCarthy Ranch yesterday in Milpitas. Seeing a Cayman is such a rare sighting for me. It was cool to see it especially since I am waiting for mine still. Are you a member of this Message Board?

Carmon Red at Sam's BBQ

I happened to be at Sam's when a nice Carmon Red Cayman pulled in. After I discovered I was mistakenly parked in a handicapped spot, I moved to next to the other Cayman. Did the Carmon belong to anyone here?

Several times last week I saw a Carmon Red C parked at the Rockridge BART station. The owner is there when I arrive in the a.m. and still there when I get back after work, so that person is putting in some serious hours.

Anyone here own that C?

Drive a Porsche Cayman to BART and leave it there? I'd think you'd want to drive it everywhere just for the sheer joy of driving it.

Wushuhus,

I understand your point, but sadly it is no fun driving the CS, at least for me, across the Bay Bridge in either the morning or evening commute. My guess is that the Red car person figured that out as well.
