our own SteveWalker has generously offered up his house and grill to our ravenous post-AX bellies. you do not even have to attend the Alameda AX to get in to this exclusive, plus up picnic - but please do either reply here or drop SteveWalker a PM so he knows how many people to expect.
feel free to bring your sweetie, etc. as mostly Caymanites don’t bite, mostly. watch out for those Boxsters though... *grin*
the AX ends at 5, so we’ll head out from there and down South toward Hayward for 5:30/6pm - if you are not Axing, just meet us there right around then in your super clean and pretty polished car (sniggering at our AX brake dust, tape remnants, and (in my case) pylon smudges optional.) this is a great opportunity to see mods, hear other exhausts, and meet some pretty cool people that share your interest in the most excellent Porsches.
**no loose articles in the car at the AX, that means no shaking up your BBQ beers in the trunk in the chicane, k?

OK, I have an idea. The missus and I host a 4th of July party every year. All Zone 7 CC'ers are welcome to attend! We have a good view of the fireworks here in Livermore, a pool, a BBQ, and this year we're having a live BLUES BAND. Grrlsix I'll coordinate with you on how to set this up...
I will not be able to make the Auto X due to a scheduling conflict but I'll definitely be at the (my) barbecue. (if for no other reason than I live there...)
I have plenty of beer on hand and I will also be making Pina Coladas, margaritas etc.
I stopped off at a German sausage shop this afternoon so we have Knackwurst, Weisswurst (I know they are supposed to be served before 11AM but its gotta be morning somewhere...) and some sort of jalapeño sausage that wasn't German but the owner had just made up a batch... There will also be Cheese, snacks etc. so if you have some sort of favorite food you want to bring that's great but don't feel that you need to bring anything but an appetite..
