I'm not registered for the AX, but since I'm in the area I'd love to come out to watch the action and meet some fellow CCers.. Is that permitted?
as far as i know, you sign up day of. just show up ~8:15ish, borrow a helmet and you are ready to go - you'll even have an instructor assigned to you to walk you through it. easy!
of course, you can watch too...
what day? Sat or Sun, or both?

There's no need to register in advance. If you can stay at least half the day, you might as well sign in either the morning or afternoon. Most people sign up in the morning and stay the whole day. Yes, you can also stop by to watch. At the gate someone will hand you a liability waiver to sign.
That looks like a nice fast course, but I can't make it this weekend
grrlsix - Hi, Cool do you think that is enough time to get us there ( via the 1 or via 101? ( would rather go on the 1 :-) ) ( leaving at 6 am ) thought is takes 2:30 minutes, that would put us right at the end of registration.....
Regards,
d

I'd like to watch the event as well and meet fellow CCers. If, I'm going there just to watch, can I come at any time? What time does it end? What's the address?

Sorry, I'm new to the forum.
Generally, these events go from 7am to about 3:30-4pm... You can come anytime during that time to watch and chat - although most people are usually either running their cars or working the course while the event is going on. Follow the directions in post #5 of this thread - that will get you there.
