Greg - Did you mean the "passenger" or the "passenger seat"? I'd like to take out my passenger seat, but I can't figure out how many points that is. Also, sometimes someone who actually knows how to drive (like Alan Jung or Larry Sharp) will ride with me, and I have the opportunity to learn something, so that's weight that's worth carrying.

Autocross school at Infineon 11/22

Hey it was great seeing all the Cayman Clubbers at the GGR autocross in Marina 8/2. Props to Captain Happy for coming all the way from Nevada! Thanks to Fort for letting me ride with him and for showing me how quickly/easily you can remove parts from a Cayman and turn it from looking like an exotic sports car into something left on the side of the road in East Oakland.

I mentioned to many of you that Trackmasters is having a second autocross school at Infineon. It is on November 22. Here's the link for anyone who is interested.

Bay Area Autocross Forum: Northern California Events => !! INIFINEON A/X SCHOOL !! #2

Trackmaster's website is at:

TrackMasters Racing

but doesn't list the school yet on their calendar.

Cheers,

Alan

I meant to write passenger seat. Which I guess would mean also removing the passenger

Some of my best runs are with a student. I'm focused on driving properly instead of my usual, go as fast as possible on whatever line I find myself driving.

How were the 914s and their drivers?

+1 for Alan.

I'm old and slow so I have an excuse. No offense to other Cayman drivers at Marina, but Alan showed what the car is capable of. I feel so much better...... I think!
Nice meeting you Alan and great driving.

Craig
