CA has one of the ulgiest license plate, so has anyone considered or know where to order a sleek looking euro plate? There is another thread with a front tow hook mount frame but is off center, nevertheless still a good temp solution.
Wouldn't be legal but http://www.europeanplates.com/licenseplates.htmI suppose you could use your exisitng plate number as long as it is less than nine letters and try to argue you are complying with the intent of the law.
You should seriously consider (our sponsor) MowerAxle's tow hook mount. I really like it. I put it on when I am taking the car into Palo Alto or San Francisco where they love to give front-plate tickets when your car is parked either on the street or in a city lot.
I bought some from EBAY with plate frames, very easy to fit, and I bought a porsche crest badge for my rear plate, because there is no porsche badge at the rear of the car so that make sense
lintc: I'm confused (not uncommon). Don't you need real plates in New Zealand? If so, what shape are they? If wide/not too tall, what's the point? If 'squarish,' how do you get away with the imitation German ones?
The NZ spec car doesn't come with those 2 rear plate holderpieces like US cars, same as UK,ready for EURO PLATE,I just need to tell them seller what number I needed to make on the plate then thats it...NZ plate numbers are very easy, just like the one showed on my euro plate, 3 words 3 numbers....no other badges or state numbers on the plate....
