After Market Exhausts Systems in Zone 7

We are developing a lot of information about the various exhaust systems now available for the CS. Screebo's new poll will be very helpful too.

In addition, the one thing that is going to impact our purchasing choice significantly is how the various systems sound!

I am starting this thread so that when someone in Zone 7 installs one of the systems, if you post here to tell us about it, and if you agree, we can make arrangements to hook up with you to hear your new exhaust system.

And to give you high 5s, buy you beers, and otherwise congratulate you.

Question

Gene,

I think what also would be relevant is understanding what the impact will be of installing an exhaust system on CA cars. As an example, the Milltek catback system eliminates the secondary cats as many other systems. What impact will this have on smog emission tests? Will the standard primary cats alone pass CA emission test?

I understand that it certainly will not pass the visual inspection but that's a whole 'nother story. It doesn't look like there will be any CARB approved exhaust products as far as I can tell. How do all the modded Porsches pass inspection?

Just wondering.

Good point. I forgot all about the darn gov'ment.

But folks should still check in if anyone makes a purchase so we'll know.
