Starbucks are everywhere; they are in every corners of every town. I think you should set up something a little more fun and exciting. I am going to a Starbucks every morning.lol

Zornet and I talked about it at the C&C event. Since we live pretty close together (Redondo Beach area) we wanted to meet more frequently… sure, many Starbucks around. So we can pick!
It’s more a get-together, which could end up in spin…

Chaseman,

So could you.

I am sure if you started a thread with a date, time, location, agenda, etc. people would sign on. Just look how quick CCC4321 brought 17-20 Caymans together. He did this in one week!

It seems to always be the same people putting together the runs/meets (mpollard, zornet, ccc4321, nicksouth, me).

Is it your turn? Maybe a BBQ?

BTW, it was good to see you Saturday and I hope you are feeling better.

Cheers,

gforce,

It was great to meet you on Saturday. Your exhaust sounds quite nice.

Thank you for the offer, but I must bow out this week.

Cheers,

I tried to get some interest going with a couple of BBQ Idea's last month with no response so I gave up the idea.

A get together at HOOTERS would be cool

Jeff,

Yes, the BBQ comment was in reference to those threads.

I actually think it is a good idea (thank you for trying), but if I recall, a definitive date, time, location never got set. Also, trying to coordinate who brings what is probably just a recipe for many headaches.

The best bet is to probably just pick a spot, set a time and date, and just show up with the few folks that you now will come. If others show, great. If not, oh well. I think you will be surprised at how many will jump on the bandwagon.

I am (personally) not sure about the Hooters idea. It would be great to get more women owners out to the runs and Hooters may not be the way to get this done. Just my opinion though.

I have been spending my coordination time on trying to get more people to come to the PCA OCR AX and POC STS events.

gforce,

My apologies for the partial thread hi-jack.

Cheers,

Yo D,
Why do you have to bust my chops? I am saving my run for August my friend. To the Concours D'Elegance in Pebble Beach.

All in good fun buddy.

You just seem to be "busting" on people about their runs, so I though I would give a little back.

I hope to see you the July AX.

Cheers,

I don't endorse Starbucks and won't give them money. However, I'm up for a run on Saturday. I'm new to LA and look forward to meeting some new friends.
