Coronado Classic Speed Festival Oct 7th - 8th

I'm planning on going to this with one of my friends who is in the Socal Corrado Club. VW Corrado for those who aren't familiar with the car.

They are planning on doing a caravan into the show and they secured some special parking. Not exactly sure what.

They were gracious enough to let me join them.

I know some people were planning on Crystal Cove that weekend but this is also a possibility.

We're planning on driving down Saturday afternoon, hanging out in SD on Saturday night and going to the show on Sunday.

If anyone would like to meet up for drinks on Saturday night in SD or meeting at the show on Sunday, I'm sure it'll be a great time.

Yup, it was a great time. I took a lot of pictures of the racing action, will post them soon enough.

They had cars in the show area parked by clubs, and the Porsche club was dominating in size until early afternoon when the Mini owners came out in full force.

I was the one of 2 Caymans out there. The other Cayman came later and left after a short period.

I'm surprised but the Cayman was still getting a lot of attention, seems like a lot of people haven't seen the car in person yet. I had people coming up and talking to me and just checking out the car all day.

Here's a link to my pics. That 250 GTO Ferrari up there was my favorite car on the track.
