Anyone know when the next PCA DE event is going to be around the SoCal, NoCal, or Vegas areas? I just recently joined PCA after getting my new car, and am interested in checking out a PCA event but don't really see alot of DE events. Seems like they don't really do alot of DE events compared to BMWCCA?

CaymanClub.Net members who are also PCA members should request access to the PCA Member only forum by filling in their PCA Member ID# into their profile and then requesting a group membership addition, both of which can be done in the User Control Panel (User CP)
I don't really count autocrosses as DEs, I was looking more for a High Performance Driving Event conducted out on a track somewhere. Doesn't PCA ever run Buttonwillow, Infineon, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, etc.?

Ok, thanks alot for all the help MPollard. Coming mainly from BMWCCA HPDE events, I was specifically interested in checking out some PCA events to see how the two organizations compare with one another as I had heard alot of good things about PCA. I guess I was pretty surprised at how few HPDE type events PCA seems to run given the racing heritage of the Porsche brand.

Zone 8 regional PCA clubs offer a number of Drivers Ed opportunities during the year. November does not offer the best options for you, it seems. The Las Vegas Region offers two to three Driver's Ed sessions during the year at Spring Mountain.

Check out the Porsche Owners Club (link below). They have lots of DE/time trial events at Willow Springs, California Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Laguna Seca, ...
I haven't done any events with them yet, but have heard good things from several current members. I'll probably start with them next year, but i think they have a few events left this year at Willow.
