For all those folks in Southern CA this week,
Farnbacher Loles Cayman-based GTR is making its West Coast debut as one of the featured vehicles in the Yokohama Tire booth. Parked right next to the radical Tesla electric sportscar, the GTR is drawing lots of attention. While the display car is the prototype, it sports all the production goodies including the same 3.8 liter X-51 engine featuring a unique REVO-tuned adjustable performance feature: easily switch from 390 daily-driver HP (on pump gas) to 410 HP (on 100 octane race fuel) for track days!
In addition to the awesome acceleration, the car is a handling champ and recently was put through its paces driven by German Porsche ace (and Daytona 24 Champ) Dominik
Farnbacher who couldn't stop smiling after piloting the car around the winding backroads of Western Connecticut. As Dominik's co-pilot during the drive, all I can say is YEEEHAAAAAA!
The GTR is now in production and the prototype can be seen at the show through December 10th. Make sure you stop by and say hi to the Yokohama folks who have been great partners in the development of the car. All GTRs wear the outstanding Yokohama ADVAN Sport tires.
