I'm just past 10k miles on my car and I'm thinking I should start thinking about getting an oil change.
Anyone have an independent shop they can recommend, someone on the Westside would be good.
I was thinking Lucent Motors from a previous recommendation on here.
Or should I take it to a dealer?
Had My 1 Yr Oil & Filter Chg @ Mckenna Done This Past Sat.
$258.00 W/tax
Also Adjusted My Right Door Seal That Was Pinched.
Took Approx 1 1/2 Hrs.
Everything Was Good Till Sun Laker Game.
As I Pulled Into The Parking And Gave The Attendant My Pass The Person Behind Me Tapped My Butt W/his Infinity F45.
Noy Much Damage But A Small Pin Dent And Paint Marks.
Anybody Know Of A Body Repair Shop That Would Do This Small Job Near San Dimas

Don't go to McKenna, they will rip you off. I used to go to McKenna when Dominique was their service manager. With the new guy their pricing are outrages. I went to Circle Porsche to install my B & M Short Shifter, Illuminated Carbon Fiber Door Guards and Oil change. Circle prices were 20% lower than McKenna was, and with my PCA club card, I get another 10% off. Check out Circle, they are a smaller dealer but the services are good and their service manager (Alberto) is pretty cool.
Good luck.

If you want the best, go to Brace's Auto Body in Culver City. This place is a Porsche hangout for deformed bodies. Ask for Brace Robinson. 310 823 2474
I agree regarding the service pricing structure @ McKenna's.
They we're $100.00 higher than Walters quote.
I went ahead w/McKenna as I had a couple of cosmetic issues that needed addressing.
No service tech recomendation. McKenna needs to pick up the relationship with sales and service.

$9.49 a quart? good lord, that's a lot of money! It's $5.50 at my local place, including tax.
Anyways, the manual says that with filter change, it takes 2.05 gallons of oil, which converts to 8.2 quarts. I've called several dealers and they tell me they need 9 or 10. Why is that?
