Fiesta del Porsche autocross

I was out of town for the event and just got the local newsletter with the autocross results and our very own Bleduc served the Cayman owners well by taking second to a 914-6. Well done Brian!

Brian served everybody well by pretty much setting up and running the AX! A great job by a great guy. Thanks again Brian. And that first-place 914 was a very well set-up race car, driven by a very good shoe.
Marty

Well, thank you both for the extremely kind words.

It was a pleasure to meet Marty and the misses....and I look forward to eventually meeting Santa Fe. Perhaps later this year. IIRC, we are planning some sort of social event in Santa Fe...perhaps we will meet then.

Russ Kelso (the 914-6 pilot) has had a lock on the Fiesta FTD ever since I joined the region. Last year, while driving my 964, he nipped me by 7/10ths of a second. When I bought the Croc in January, I had high hopes that I could mount a serious challenge given the tight lots we have to live with, but in the off season, he raised his game as well and dropped a 3.6 into the back of his 914. Needless to say, if I want to contest FTD in the future, I am going to need a race car, and the skills to drive it!

Hopefully we will see both of you at next years Fiesta.

Best Regards,

Brian
